Game status: Cook is ACTIVE for Week 8, per Tom Pelissero.

Game day update: Dalvin Cook is expected to play on Sunday and get a full workload in is return, per Tom Pelissero.

The Minnesota Vikings will have running back Dalvin Cook back in the lineup this week when they take on the Green Bay Packers. Though he did show up as questionable on the injury report this week, he will be on the field for Sunday’s game.

Fantasy impact: Dalvin Cook (groin)

He had been dealing with a groin injury that he suffered during the Vikings’ Week 5 game against the Seahawks. He sat out the next game, and then the team had its bye last week, giving him another week to rest and recuperate.

Cook has been aces in every game he’s played this season. His seven rushing scores—at least one if every game—represent almost 40 percent of the team’s total offensive touchdowns this season so far.

Even with Green Bay favored to win this game, Cook’s fantasy outlook is great. The Packers have struggled to stop running backs this season, and Cook scored twice against them back in Week 1.
