We go over Tom Brady’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Bucs Week 8 matchup against the Giants on Monday Night Football.

Wait, Tom Brady plays for Tampa Bay? Wow, I wonder why I didn’t hear more about that? Oh well, let’s see how he is doing without the Senator Palpatine and friends. Hmm, not too bad. He completed 73 percent of his passes for 369 yards and four touchdowns last week against the Raiders. That’ll work. He’s in the Top 10 quarterbacks in fantasy points per game as well. Not too bad for the old man.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady

This week he’ll face a New York Giants pass defense anchored by shutdown cornerback James Bradberry, but the pass defense is still adrift as a whole, ranking 27th in DVOA, The Giants haven’t faced too many strong quarterbacks this season, as Dak Prescott was hurt early in their matchup and Ben Roethlisberger and Carson Wentz both put up good numbers.

Brady will be without Chris Godwin this week, which isn’t great, but we’ve seen both Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson step up to contribute while Rob Gronkowski seems to have found his legs and has had two strong games in a row. And last week, Brady put up a huge game without even getting Mike Evans involved.
