What to do with George Kittle in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over George Kittle’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the 49ers Week 8 matchup against the Seahawks

George Kittle is a maniac with the ball in his hands and would put up insane numbers if fed a bit more. But, for a tight end, he doesn’t need 10 targets a game to be one of the best fantasy options every week.

So far this season, he leads all tight ends in PPR fantasy points per game. A huge chunk of that came in two games where he caught 22 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns. In his other three games he has 13 receptions for 143 yards and no touchdowns.

Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers TE George Kittle

Before we get into the matchup, there’s nobody other than Travis Kelce that I would start over Kittle this week. However, the Seahawks have yet to allow a touchdown to a tight end or a player to top four receptions for 64 yards, which is what Irv Smith Jr. did to them.

Of course, Seattle also hasn’t faced anyone as good as Kittle, as Hayden Hurst, Dalton Schultz, Mike Gesicki and Smith are the best tight ends to matchup with them. I wouldn’t be too afraid of the Seahawks, especially if Jamal Adams is out again.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Kittle, as usual.
