The New England Patriots haven’t gotten a whole lot of statistical production from the tight end position. Is this potentially the week Ryan Izzo and Dalton Keene can break out in the Patriots’ offense?
Let’s take a closer look at the New England tight end position heading into the weekend.
Fantasy Football analysis: Patriots TEs
The Patriots could not get much of anything going offensively against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. As it has been all season long, the tight ends did not get involved much. Izzo and Keene had identical stat lines. Both caught their lone target for eight yards.
New England is dealing with injuries at the wide receiver position with N’Keal Harry and Julian Edelman out, so it’s possible the tight ends could see more action their way.
New England will take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Buffalo is coming off a game against the New York Jets, and no tight ends recorded any stats. Trevon Wesco saw one target to his way. One thing to note is the Buffalo weather on Sunday, which is expected to be have high winds and rain.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
No Patriots tight ends should be entered into starting lineups on Sunday.
