What to do with Justin Herbert in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over Justin Herbert’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Chargers Week 8 matchup against the Broncos.

Is Justin Herbert a Top-10 fantasy QB right now?

If you were an early adopter of Justin Herbert in fantasy, you’ve been handsomely rewarded over the last three weeks. The Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback has been on a tear, making a strong case to take home the NFL’s offensive rookie of the year award. But this week, he’s got a somewhat tougher test against the Denver Broncos. So, how should you approach Herbert in fantasy?

Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers QB Justin Herbert

Herbert threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Jaguars, adding another score on the ground. He threw four touchdown passes the game before that, against the Saints, and three against the Bucs the week before that.

Last week against Denver, Patrick Mahomes had a rough day for fantasy, throwing just one touchdown, but that mostly had to do with the game being well out of hand and the Chiefs just not needing as much work from their quarterback. So, while it’s true this week’s game is likely to be less of a cake walk for Herbert, he’s still a good bet to post his fourth game in a row with multiple touchdowns.
