This Week 8 matchup against the Lions is bound to test each of the three talented tight ends that the Colts roster. Who will outshine the others? What individual fantasy value to they each hold?

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts TEs Mo Alie-Cox, Trey Burton, Jack Doyle

Mo Alie-Cox, has been officially listed as questionable and while he had a hot week in week three, he has been injury bit for a while now. Even playing he figures to be a decoy and the Colts won’t risk another setback with him. Expect a low to no usage out of Mo.

Trey Burton has stepped up to the plate. Last time out, he had four receptions on five targets and a touchdown. More than serviceable. While the Lions have a surprisingly decent defense, expect more of the same as the new lead tight end. That means a bit more usage and a TD would be great fantasy value.

Jack Doyle. Once the darling of Indy, has cooled off. Add past injury concerns and there was not a lot to look forward to. The injuries that now should be in the past, he could see some usage. A touchdown last week on three catches and 29 yards are a decent outing. Matching them would be good for him and might even make him a nice fantasy add. A great low value, high upside pick.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Burton and Doyle, bench Alie-Cox.
