The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears will kick off Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season with a Thursday Night Football matchup at Soldier Field. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be aired on FOX, NFL Network, and via live online stream on Amazon Prime.
The Bucs and Bears are both 3-1, but Tampa Bay has the momentum of a three-game winning streak on its side. The Bears suffered their first loss of the season to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4 after benching Mitchell Trubisky for Nick Foles. It appears Foles will retain his starting job on Thursday, but it’s unclear whether his arm can be enough to help Chicago keep up with a Tom Brady-led offense that’s averaging more than 32 points per game since losing in Week 1.
If you don’t have Amazon Prime and can’t catch the game on TV, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream Thursday Night Football this week. The game is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter during the game, but otherwise it’s an easy option.
The Buccaneers (-186) are favored by 4 points against the Bears (+160) on DraftKings Sportsbook. They have the best run defense in the NFL, so the Bears will likely have to beat them with passing. Foles ranks 32nd in the NFL in completion percentage (59.2), so the chances of him tearing up Tampa Bay are slim. I think the Buccaneers should win and cover the spread with ease, but this game could fall short of the total points over/under (44) because of the key injuries Tampa Bay is dealing with on offense. O.J. Howard is out for the year with an Achilles injury while Chris Godwin is dealing with a knee injury. The backfield will be limited if Leonard Fournette (ankle) misses a second straight game.
