Wednesday update: Leonard Fournette is listed as doubtful and LeSean McCoy is out, per the injury report. Ronald Jones will handle the bulk of the workload in their absence, but rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn should see substantial usage for the first time.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette “may run tomorrow” according to head coach Bruce Arians. Arians went on to say that the ex-Jaguar “has made some improvement” with his ankle injury and that he’ll most-likely be a game-time decision for Thursday against the Bears, per ESPN’s Jenna Laine.
Fournette has shown some upside, with a big game against the Panthers, but Ronald Jones appears to still have a grasp on the lead back duties so far. They will likely continue to share the workload, but Jones should be first in line for now.
