Monday update: Chubb has sprained his MCL and is expected to miss 6 weeks, according to Ian Rapoport. Kareem Hunt and D’Ernest Johnson will split work in his absence.
UPDATE: The Browns announced Nick Chubb is OUT for the rest of Week 4. Kareem Hunt and D’Ernest Johnson will split work the rest of the game. At halftime, Hunt has five carries for 36 yards and a touchdown while Johnson has five carries for 52 yards.
UPDATE: The Browns have announced Chubb is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has left the team’s Week 4 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys grabbing for a lower leg injury. Chubb went down and grabbed around his calf or ankle. He was able to limp off the field, but he has gone to the locker room.
Chubb was blocking in pass protection on the player, and a defender was rolled up on his right leg. Chubb had six rushes for 43 yards before the injury. Kareem Hunt replaces him as the Browns starting running back.
