Game status: Carson is ACTIVE for Week 4. Carlos Hyde is INACTIVE.
Game day update: Carson is expected to play, while Hyde “should be out,” according to Ian Rapoport. Carson sprained his knee last week but it appears to have been relatively minor. He’s a solid start against the Dolphins.
Both Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde are officially listed as questionable on the injury report heading into Sunday’s game. However, it looks like the Seattle Seahawks will have both players in the lineup when they take on the Dolphins this week. Carson is dealing with a knee injury, but has been able to practice this week. Hyde has a shoulder injury.
Fantasy impact: Chris Carson, Carlos Hyde injury
Carson has been handling the bulk of the work for the Seahawks out of the backfield. He leads the team with 37 carries, compared to 16 for Hyde. And also sees some action as a receiver, having caught 12 passes for 93 yards and three touchdowns so far this season.
The Dolphins are middle of the road when it comes to defending running backs. Carson is a solid start at RB2 this week given the matchup. While Hyde does have a role to play even when Carson is healthy, it’s not consistent enough to rely on him in fantasy leagues.
