Who to add to fantasy roster with Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin, Mike Williams out for Week 4

Can Preston Williams emerge in a favorable match up?

What a week for injuries. Three elite receivers have been ruled out for Sunday’s games in Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin, and Mike Williams. Who could you add in a pinch for this week’s games to fill out your fantasy football roster? We’ve got three names available in at least 50 percent of leagues.

Fantasy football wide receivers to consider

Preston Williams, Dolphins

The Dolphins receiver could be poised for a big game vs. the Seahawks. Seattle has given up a ridiculous amount of yards — a league worst 430.7 passing yards per game — and a pass-happy attack with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm could do big numbers. Being rostered on 48.3% of leagues he should be available in a favorable match up.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Packers

The Packers receiver room is in a deep injury bug stretch. This week they added Allen Lazard to an already banged up Davante Adams which could open the targets share for MVS. He could see Week 1 numbers — where he had four catches for 96 yards and a TD — or better. Definitely consider adding him considering he’s rostered in 31.2% of leagues.

Tre’Quan Smith, Saints

Smith recently had a lion’s share of targets despite not hauling in a TD, being second in targets behind only Alvin Kamara. A real deep threat with his speed, Smith has been unable to use it given Brees arm limitations this season. Still, he has value in yards after the catch and warrants an add since he’s rostered in only 17.9% of leagues.
