What to do with Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams in Week 4 fantasy football

It’s always a great week to start the Packers’ running back.

On Monday night, the Green Bay Packers will host the Atlanta Falcons in what is sure to be a high-scoring affair. It’s also looking like it could be a big game for Packers running back Aaron Jones.

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers RBs Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams

Jones is second in the NFL in yard from scrimmage with 398. His 303 rushing yards are also second best in the league, and he’s tied atop the leaderboard with four rushing touchdowns. His best game of the season came in Week 2 against the Lions, when he rolled up 168 yards on the ground and another 68 receiving yards. He also scored three times. Last week, a tougher Saints defense lowered his production levels, but he was still a boon for fantasy rosters with 86 total yards and a touchdown.

This week’s matchup looks a lot more like the one in Week 2. Atlanta’s defense is the league’s worst, allowing an average of 36 points per game. Running backs haven’t racked up the kind of gaudy numbers you’d expect, but they’ve been effective at finding the end zone.

Jones is a must-start. Jamaal Williams had 63 yards doing cleanup work in that game against the Lions, so there’s some question as to whether or not he’ll get that opportunity again. He might, but it’s hard to bank on that happening with one of your precious roster spots.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Aaron Jones. Sit Jamaal Williams.
