NFL picks against the spread for every game in Week 4

Welcome back for Week 4 of the 2020 NFL season! We’re getting to the quarter point of the 2020 NFL season, and the league has reached a bit of a crisis point. The Titans have had an outbreak of Covid-19 and had to postponed their Week 4 contest with the Steelers to Week 7. That was followed by Cam Newton and Jordan Ta’amu testing positive and forcing a postponement of Patriots-Chiefs.

The remaining 13 games on the schedule are still on track to play. The week started with an unexpected entertaining if ugly Broncos win over the Jets on Thursday Night Football. I took the Broncos as an underdog and got the outright win. I don’t bet on every game every week, but I will offer picks against the spread for the full slate each week and some of my best bets for the week.

After an ugly Week 2, I had a solid Week 3. I went 11-5 with my picks, and 4-1 with my five best bets of the weekend. It improves me to 26-21-1 on total picks and 11-4 on my best bets. A year ago, I went 131-117-4, finishing with a 52.78 win percentage. That’s barely turning a profit, but for a season’s worth of picks, that’s not too bad. I did not track my best bet percentage over the course of the season, but will make sure to do that this year.

I’m going to pick my five “best bets” each week, similar to what you might use in the DraftKings Pro Football Pick ‘Em National Championship. Lines are moving so some of the lines below will be different from what you see on game day. Look for value where you can!
