The NASCAR Cup Series is headed to Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday for the YellaWood 500, which is set to begin at 4:00 p.m. ET and air on NBC. This will be one of the more difficult races to predict a winner for, but we’ve identified some top DFS plays and sleepers on DraftKings.

Best Bets

Ryan Blaney ($9,100)

Blaney is one of the favorites to win on DraftKings Sportsbook at +1000, but is significantly cheaper than players with the same odds like Chase Elliott ($10,500), Joey Logano ($10,300), and pole sitter Denny Hamlin ($9,700. Blaney has won twice at Talladega since 2017.

Joey Logano ($10,300)

Only one driver in the field can beat Logan’s four top five finishes at Talladega since 2017. He could be lower owned than he should be because he’s finished outside of the top 10 in his last two races there, and that could give you an edge.

Sleeper Picks

Aric Almirola ($8,500)

Almirola hasn’t finished outside the top 10 at Talladega in 10 starts. He finished fifth or better in five of those races and last won in 2018. He’s been one of the most consistent top 10 finishers in the Cup Series, so it’s not hard to see him performing at a high level at a place he’s dominated in recent years.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ($8,800)

Stenhouse is a little pricey for a sleeper in DFS, but 10 drivers have better odds than him on DraftKings Sportsbook. He has just as many top five finishes at Talladega as Logano since 2017 and finished second his last time there, which was in June.
