T.J. Hockenson did his part in helping the Detroit Lions upend the red hot Arizona Cardinals in their 26-23 victory last week, hauling in four passes for 53 yards in the win.
The second-year product leads the Lions in receiving so far and will look to more damage when welcoming the Saints to Ford Field this Sunday.
Fantasy Football analysis: Lions TE T.J. Hockenson
While only sporting a single touchdown this season, Hockenson has made the most of his catching opportunities by bringing in 13 of his 16 targets for a healthy 171 yards.
While not necessarily explosive, he’s remained consistent by averaging 12 fantasy points per game in DFS and 7.7 points in ESPN leagues. The return of Kenny Golladay may potentially cut into some of his targets but he’ll continue to remain one of Matthew Stafford’s favorite weapons as the season moves along.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
The Saints’ defense have given up the most points to opposing tight ends this season so Hockenson is a definite start.
