The Houston Texans haven’t started out the season how they would’ve liked. In fact, 0-3 probably didn’t even cross their mind as a possibility. But after facing three of their toughest opponents on the schedule this season, they’ll fall directly into a trampoline of a matchup against Minnesota this week. Does that mean Deshaun Watson will bounce back in fantasy, too?
Fantasy Football analysis: Texans QB Deshaun Watson
Through three games, Watson has yet to break 22 fantasy points, something he did twice in the same time span last season. Before you blame Deshaun’s woes on the departure of DeAndre Hopkins, you have to recognize the amount of pressure he has been under - meaning defensive pressure. Watson has been sacked 13 times already, second to only Joe Burrow (14). The Vikings have the second-lowest sack rate (2.8%) and will certainly allow Watson with some breathing room...finally. If there was ever a time to turn a season around, this is it for Deshaun and the Texans.
