What to do with Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf in Week 4 fantasy football

These are the salad days for Seattle’s receivers.

4th quarter update: Hey now, Tyler Lockett! After three quiet quarters, he is finally on the board with two receptions for 39 yards in the fourth quarter.

Game update: Tyler Lockett has been quiet into the third quarter. He has been targeted twice but has no catches to show for it.

It seems like it’s been a long time since you could take a Seahawks wide receiver, plug them into your lineup, and leave them there. Now there are TWO receivers in sea green and blue who are must-starts each and every week since Seattle has finally discovered the joy of passing the ball for four quarters instead of one.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WRs Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf

Lockett’s four touchdowns are tied for the most by any wide receiver this season, so far. He’s got 259 yards to go with that, including a 100-yard, three-touchdown game last week against the Cowboys. Metcalf’s 297 receiving yards are the third most in the league, and he’s got three touchdowns to go with it, one in every game so far.

This week, they’re on the road to Miami for what looks like a high-scoring matchup against the Dolphins. (Seattle’s porous pass defense, means almost every game is a shootout.) Lockett has an edge in total targets over Metcalf, giving him a teeny bit more fantasy value, but both of these guys belong in lineups.
