The Los Angeles Rams love to run the ball this season. They lead the league in overall rushing attempts with 222. Unfortunately for fantasy football, they’re doing this with a rotation of running backs that makes weekly lineup decisions an exercise in frustration. Here’s what you need to know going into their Week 8 game against the Dolphins.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams RBs Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown
The Dolphins allow an average of 124 rushing yards per game, and they’ve given up six rushing touchdowns to running backs in six games. Chris Carson of the Seahawks and James Robinson of the Jaguars both scored twice against Miami this season.
The Rams have given Henderson an edge in carries. Over the last three games, he’s got 44 rushing attempts to 20 for Brown. Last week, however, that gap was slighter, with Brown getting 10 to Henderson’s 15. And it was Brown who found the end zone.
For now, Henderson’s a littler better play in fantasy because of the workload. Brown has value as well, though he’s even less of a sure thing from week to week. The Dolphins make for a good matchup too, giving both players some value in flex spots this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown.
