In a bantamweight bout on the undercard of UFC Vegas 12, Miles Johns will take on Kevin Natividad Saturday in Las Vegas, and available on ESPN+.
The 26-year-old Johns is walking into the octagon with a record of 10-1. This is his second UFC fight this year and third overall. The last time he was in the ring, Johns lost to Mario Bautista on Aug. 3, 2019, at UFC 247. Bautista hit him with a flying knee and punches at 1:41 in Round 2.
Before that fight, Johns’ last win happened in 2019 against Cole Smith at UFC Fight Night 158. “Chapo” is a multi-faceted fighter as he lands 3.19 strikes per minute with a 49 percent striking accuracy. He also absorbs 2.37 per minute, while his defense is at 63 percent. The 5-foot-7 Johns’ is also good at grappling with a 1.64 takedown average per 15 minutes and 66 percent takedown accuracy.
Natividad is coming into the UFC APEX with a record of 9-1. The 27-year-old from Tempe, AZ, will be making his UFC debut on Halloween. “Quicksand” last fought earlier this summer at LFA 85 against Kyle Estrada, with a second-round KO at 1:37. Before that bout, “Quicksand” Natividad had won three LFA matches over the last two years.
