If you had the under in the TCU Horned Frogs - Texas Longhorns game today, you caught a bad beat you’ll be thinking about for weeks.
On 4th and 8 with six seconds left in the game, TCU head coach Gary Patterson decided to take an intentional safety instead of punting and risking a block that might turn into a touchdown. Smart!
But when the score is TCU 33, Texas 29... and the over/under closed at 63...
And the over somehow gets there on the last play of the game. A SAFETY!!! #TCU #Texas @paulyhoward @MitchMossRadio @VSiNLive @notthefakeSVP pic.twitter.com/QbwN7H7bJq

If you had the under, you just took the brutal end of it. Thoughts and prayers to you, but you were the one betting unders in the Big XII of all conferences. On some level, you know that’s bad Karma.
It does look like there might have been a second left, but the intentional safety meant that TCU would have had a free kick from the 20 yard line. So barring a fair-catch kick or a Hail Mary, it wouldn’t have effected the outcome.
The Frogs have now won six of their last seven against the ‘Horns, and the annual hot seat discussion for the head coach in Austin kicks off right now!
Congrats to those that caught the over in the Power Five’s most defense-free league. And besides, the under is like the Don’t Pass Line in craps... who wants to root against fun??
