The first thing that jumps out is the amount of Friday football that will be played. With the Big Ten, ACC, Big XII, and SEC all entering the fray on a condensed time schedule, spreading out the content as widely as possible makes the most sense from a TV inventory standpoint.

The three games on Black Friday will all be the rivalry games from the North Division: The Stanford Axe between the Cal Golden Bears and Stanford Cardinal, The Civil War with the Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers, and The Apple Cup for the Washington Huskies and the Washington State Cougars.

The flip will come on Week 6, where the South Division will play their traditional rivals: The Territorial Cup between the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils, The Victory Bell between the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans , and The Rumble in The Rockies (a fake rivalry made up because all the other teams had one) between the Colorado Buffaloes and Utah Utes. UofA-ASU and CU-UU will be on Friday night, December 11th.

Each team will play one crossover game from the other division, and those are:

Washington-Arizona: November 21st (Week 3)
Arizona State-Cal: November 14th (Week 2)
Stanford-Colorado: November 14th (Week 2)
Oregon-UCLA: November 20th (Week 3)
Utah-Oregon State: December 5th (Week 5)
USC-Washington State: December 4th (Week 5)
