As the Bundesliga wraps up matchday three of the 2020-21 season, there are only two games happening on Sunday, October 4 as the majority of the rest of the matches took place on Saturday.

VfL Wolfsburg v. FC Augsburg, 9:30 AM ET

Wolfsburg +100: 85% of handle, 71% of bets
Tie +255: 0% of handle, 1% of bets
Augsburg +265: 15% of handle, 28% of bets

While Wolfsburg is slightly favored to win this match, the public is putting their trust in them as they’re expected to come out on top against FC Augsburg. Of course, the same was said last week about Borussia Dortmund who was projected to beat Augsburg, but the underdog surprised the world as they ended with a 2-0 victory over the German giants. Wolfsburg, while unbeaten, is also winless in their first two matches of the season while they drew 0-0 with Bayer Leverkusen and followed that up with a 1-1 draw against SC Freiburg last week. The Wolves will be looking to bounce back after they suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat in their UEFA Europa League playoff match against AEK Athens earlier in the week. While Wout Weghorst is still searching for his first goal of the season, he’ll have his work cut out for him as FC Augsburg is one of only two clubs to win both of their opening matches of the season.

Bayern Munich v. Hertha BSC, 12:00 PM ET

Bayern Munich -670: 94% of handle, 98% of bets
Tie +700: 0% of handle, 0% of bets
Hertha BSC +1600: 5% of handle, 2% of bets

The splits on this match won’t be surprising to anyone as the reigning Bundesliga champions are very heavily favored to win this one, with only a few brave souls placing a bet on the underdogs Hertha BSC. Bayern are fresh off a 3-2 win over Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup earlier in the week, and despite their surprise 4-1 loss to TSG Hoffenheim last week, they’ve been dominant across the board. Hertha split their first two league matches as well, opening with a 4-1 win over Werder Bremen while following it up with a 3-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday two.
