The No. 11 UCF Knights will play their first home game of the season when they host the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday, Oct. 3.
UCF is 2-0 this season with wins over Georgia Tech and East Carolina. The Knights’ offense is rolling, scoring 50 combined points through their first two games. Dillon Gabriel threw for more than 400 yards and four touchdowns in both games so far. In addition, wide receivers Jaylon Robinson and Marlon Williams both went over 100 yards twice. Containing this offense would be difficult for any Group of 5 team like Tulsa.
The Golden Hurricane come in with an 0-1 record and flirted with pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the college football season on Sept. 19. Tulsa led Oklahoma State after three quarters before the Cowboys pulled out a 16-7 victory. Zach Smith completed 18 of 28 passes for 165 yards and threw a touchdown and an interception in the game. Deneric Prince rushed for 82 yards on 14 carries to lead Tulsa, which did not play last weekend.
Tulsa is looking for its fourth consecutive victory over UCF. The Golden Hurricane beat the Knights 34-31 last season in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Best Bet
Tulsa won this game in 2019, and we just saw the Golden Hurricane hang with the team some expected to be a dark horse to win the Big 12 title. This program appears to gear up for big games and lost by 21.5 points just once in 2019, which occurred against Navy. Tulsa will not win this game, but the Golden Hurricane can keep it closer than the spread suggests.
Pick: Tulsa +21.5
