Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater suffered an apparent neck and head injury but returns to game

UPDATE: Bridgewater is back in the game.

UPDATE: Bridgewater passed concussion tests, but is questionable to return and P.J. Walker stayed in the game, per Jonathan Alexander.

UPDATE: Bridgewater is out of the medical tent and is throwing on the sideline, per Myles Simmons.

Teddy Bridgewater stays down on the field after being tripped and then hit in the head late by Charles Harris in the third quarter. Harris was subsequently ejected from the game. Ex-XFL quarterback P.J. Walker is the backup and will take over for the time being.

Bridgewater was 10 of 15 for 112 yards and a touchdown before the injury. Walker came on and completed 1-of-3 passes for three yards and the Panthers eventually converted a field goal to cut the Falcons lead to 19-17.
