The Carolina Panthers offense is off to a strong start in Week 8 on Thursday Night Football. The team opened the second quarter with Teddy Bridgewater finding Curtis Samuel for a touchdown to take a 14-6 lead. The play came on a flea flicker you can watch below. What’s most interesting is how the Falcons defensive backs didn’t even get sucked in by it. Carolina executed it even when it didn’t really do what it was supposed to do!
Bridgewater is 5 of 6 for 75 yards with a touchdown. Samuel has touched the ball three times and already has two scores. He has two receptions for 32 yards and the touchdown, and also has a 12-yard run for a touchdown.
the good news is the Falcons' defensive backs didn't get sucked in by the Panthers' flea flicker
