How the public is betting Thursday Night college football

Four teams are in action this evening, and they might draw a bigger audience than usual because who wants to watch the Falcons?

Two nationally televised college football games will be available this evening, as the South Alabama Jaguars are off to Statesboro to take on the Georgia Southern Eagles on ESPN at 7:30, and the Colorado State Rams will head west for the Fresno State Bulldogs on CBS Sports Network at 10:00 p.m.

In the Sun Belt game, both USA and GSU are 3-2, but the Eagles are 2-0 in the conference whereas the Jags are just 1-2. Georgia State is a home favorite, led by dual threat quarterback Shai Werts who has 558 passing and 333 yards rushing so far this season.

For the nightcap, the Rams will make their 2020 debut under new coach Steve Addazio. It hasn’t exactly been a drama-free offseason in Fort Collins, but they have a quality passer in returning starting quarterback Patrick O’Brien. Fresno State fell 34-19 at home to the Hawai’i Warriors last Saturday to open up their 2020 season. But even if they lose tonight as a home dog, they’ll for sure get a win next week as they play UNLV, who might be the worst team in America.

Here are the odds and bet splits for college football games on Thursday, October 29th as part of Week 9 from DraftKings Sportsbook.
