Final injury report
Out: N/A
Doubtful: Andy Dalton (concussion)
Questionable: N/A
Thursday injury report
Sam Darnold (right shoulder) was bumped up to a full participant on Thursday and is on track to play on Sunday. On the other hand, Andy Dalton did not practice on Thursday. He took part in the quarterback position meeting, but is still a ways from returning. Ben DiNucci is a strong bet to get the start this Sunday against the Eagles.
Wednesday injury report
There are limited fantasy implications in the quarterback injury report. Josh Allen and Sam Darnold will play this week like normal. Andy Dalton is unlikely to play, meaning Ben DiNucci could get his first career start. It downgrades Cowboys pass catchers, although they had already been downgraded when Dak Prescott got hurt.
DNP: Andy Dalton (concussion)
Limited: Sam Darnold (right shoulder)
Full: Josh Allen (left shoulder)
Week 7 continued the strong play of rookie Justin Herbert, who ended up as fantasy’s number one quarterback with another great outing, but what put him over the top was his best rushing production of the season. The Top 4 quarterbacks each had a rushing touchdown to go with three or more touchdown passes.
Baker Mayfield was the biggest surprise, as he started his game against the Bengals playing poorly and then went on an absolute heater, finishing the day with 297 passing yards and five touchdowns to go with an early interception. Mayfield hadn’t passed for more than two touchdowns in a game before this monster. He is frustrating for fantasy, but we’ll see if he can keep things up in a good matchup vs. the Raiders this week.
Injury news
Andy Dalton is dealing with a concussion and his status for Sunday night’s game against the Eagles is in question. Ben DiNucci, who came in for Dalton last week or Garrett Gilbert would be next up.
Bye weeks
Washington Football Team, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars
No Kyler Murray or Deshaun Watson this week is a gut punch, while Kyle Allen and Gardner Minshew taking a break isn’t going to impact fantasy teams all that much.
Streaming options
Teddy Bridgewater, Panthers
You’ll see his name often this week, as he plays the Falcons awful pass defense. Bridgewater already had a good game against them, throwing for 313 yards and two touchdowns in Week 5 and now he’ll get them at home.
Joe Burrow, Bengals
The Titans have been good at takeaways, picking off four quarterbacks multiple times this season, but are still giving up the ninth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Joe Burrow is coming off his best statistical game of his short career and will likely need to throw to keep up with the Titans, as he’s needed to do in most games this season.
