We tried to tell you last week — Tim Patrick is the real deal.
Patrick surprisingly has the best stats of any Denver Broncos wideout through seven weeks of 2020 but had an underwhelming performance when Drew Lock returned from injury against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Denver was stagnant on offense and Patrick hauled in three passes for 44 yards. He’s been every bit as impactful as rookie wideout Jerry Jeudy and should be considered as a waiver wire target ahead of Week 8 in deeper leagues.
Denver’s WR1 spot is up for grabs with Courtland Sutton out for the season and Patrick leads Denver with 354 receiving yards and is tied with Fant for most touchdowns receptions (2). While his targets could decrease now the Fant is back in the fold after missing time with an ankle injury, he proved to be a viable option and posted two straight 100-yard games ahead of Week 7. He’s only rostered in 25 percent of Yahoo leagues.
