Game status: Hopkins is ACTIVE for Week 7.

Game day update: Hopkins is expected to play on Sunday, per Adam Schefter.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins is questionable ahead of this week’s primetime showdown against the Seattle Seahawks. An ankle injury left him sidelined in practice earlier this week, but he was able to return to the field for Friday’s session, albeit on a limited basis.

Fantasy impact: DeAndre Hopkins (ankle)

Hopkins’ return to practice is a good sign, and the team is hopeful that he can play this week. The NFL’s leader in receiving yards (601) has only missed two games in his NFL career, now in his eighth season, so the odds certainly favor him playing in this one. The Cardinals will need him. He accounts for a plurality of all passing targets, and he could really post some impressive numbers against Seattle’s secondary.

All signs point to Hopkins playing this week, but you will need to double check the news on Sunday before locking him into your lineup.
