What to do with Tom Brady in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Tom Brady’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Bucs Week 7 matchup against the Raiders.

Fans and fantasy football general managers are anxious for another five-touchdown outing from Tom Brady. However, that’s unlikely to happen this week against the Raiders, if this game does go on as scheduled. Remember, it’s been moved back to the late afternoon slot after the Raiders offensive linemen had to go into isolation for potential COVID exposure, but the team’s tests did come back negative on Friday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady

Brady didn’t have a lot to do last week with the Buccaneers leaning on their running backs to handle the Packers defense. He did manage to rejuvenate Rob Gronkowski’s career for a week with his only touchdown pass.

A similar situation could play out this week, as the Raiders have also been pretty susceptible to the run, allowing 126.8 rushing yards per game and an average of 4.8 yards per carry. They’ve also allowed 10 rushing touchdowns, tied for second-most in the league. Still, this is a good matchup for Brady to do a little more passing, which makes him a decent option for fantasy lineups, but not a great one.
