What to do with Russell Wilson in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Russell Wilson’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Seahawks Week 7 matchup against the 49ers.

After poring over hours of game film, it does indeed appear that Russell Wilson is pretty good at football. Who knows what would have happened if he had stuck with baseball? But the odds are pret-tay, pret-tay, pret-tay good that he made the right career choice. His next chance to be good at football will come on the road versus the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

Of all the crazy stats that Wilson has put up this year, this one stands out to me: He has the league’s second-best completion percentage at 72.8. Only Derek Carr (73.1) is above him. But Carr, as you would expect, has been much more cautious with his throws; his intended air yards per pass attempt is 6.9, which ranks 26th among all quarterbacks. Wilson IAY/PA is 9.2, which is fifth-best in the league. The man is so on-target with his deep throws, it’s beautiful to watch. He is tops in the NFL with 19 passing touchdowns. His season-low point total on DraftKings is 24.9. Oh, boo-hoo.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Obviously, yes. In DFS, he’s the highest-priced QB at $8,000. You could choose to go with a better value at such a deep position, but it’s not like Wilson is going to be the player who keeps you from cashing. He is as money as it gets right now.
