You might think that with the Seattle Seahawks throwing the ball as much as they are this season that there would be more work for a veteran tight end like Greg Olsen. After all, he used to be pretty good back in the day. However, despite that, he’s not a viable fantasy option in most weeks, including this Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks TE Greg Olsen
Despite the limited production, Olsen does have a role to play. He caught a touchdown pass back in Week 1, and he went for 61 yards in Week 3 — the only time this season he’s had more than 50. But with wide receivers like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and a running back like Chris Carson, there’s just not much need to throw the ball to Olsen more than four or five times in game to keep the chains moving or ward off a sack.
He’s best left on the bench this week in fantasy.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Greg Olsen.
