A week after a glorified practice game against the Browns, the Steelers get more challenging draw against the Tennessee Titans, a game that could see lots of points. So what about two of their receivers who have less featured roles in the offense?
Fantasy Football analysis: Steelers WRs JuJu Smith-Schuster, James Washington
After missing Wednesday’s practice, Smith-Schuster was back on the field for Thursday’s session, a full participant. So he should be good to go for this week’s game against the Titans. Unfortunately, his presence won’t have much impact on fantasy. He’s been out-produced lately by Washington and Chase Claypool. And it looks like Diontae Johnson could return this week as well.
Johnson’s potential return could spell a reduction in fantasy production for Washington too. He scored a touchdown and had 68 yards on seven targets, a team high, last week. Both receivers will likely get into the mix some in what could be a high-scoring affair, but with Claypool and Johnson in the lineup, it’s unlikely either Washington or Smith-Schuster will be of much fantasy value.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington.
