What to do with Jordan Akins, Darren Fells in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Darren Fells’ fantasy football outlook ahead of the Texans Week 7 matchup against the Packers.

Game status: Jordan Akins is INACTIVE for Week 7.

The Houston Texans are most likely not going to have tight end Jordan Akins in action again this week. He’s been dealing with both an ankle injury and a concussion, and hasn’t played since week 4. That means more work Daniel Fells, who’s been a viable fantasy producer with Akins sidelined.

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans TE Darren Fells

Fells got seven looks from quarterback Deshaun Watson last week against the Titans, catching six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown. That was the second game in a row where he found the end zone.

This week’s draw against the Packers is a tough one. Green Bay has mostly held tight ends in check this season, and until last week they had yet to surrender a touchdown to one. But Rob Gronkowski managed to score and post 78 yards against the Packers last week. Fells may not be the best option at tight end this week, but he’s a decent streamer.
