What to do with Aaron Rodgers in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Aaron Rodgers’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Packers Week 7 matchup against the Texans.

The Packers Week 6 match-up with Tampa Bay is likely one that Aaron Rodgers would like to forget, as he completed only 16 of 35 passes for 160 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. It was a disastrous day, and the normally high octane Green Bay offense was limited to scoring only 10 points. Fortunately, Week 7 brings a friendlier opponent in the Houston Texans and Rodgers will look to return to his normal high level of performance. Does he still belong in starting lineups? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers QB Aaron Rodgers

The Houston Texans are a great team for a quarterback to regroup against and Aaron Rodgers will look to capitalize on this in Week 7. Houston is allowing an average of 245 passing yards per game and have allowed a 69% completion percentage and 13 passing touchdowns this season. Rodgers was on a roll in the first four weeks of the season, averaging 26.0 fantasy points in that time. Odds are, Week 6 will be an outlier this season and Rodgers will continue to produce adequately for fantasy owners moving forward. Start him as a QB1 in Week 7 against a middling Houston defense that allowed the Titans to score 42 points in Week 6.
