Game status: Jamison Crowder is INACTIVE for Week 7.

Game day update: Justin Jackson is NOT expected to play on Sunday, per Adam Schefter.

Saturday update: The Jets have downgraded Crowder to doubtful for Week 7 Sunday. This means he probably will not play in the game.

The New York Jets listed wide receiver Jamison Crowder as questionable on this week’s injury report. He is dealing with a groin injury. Crowder missed practice all week until Friday, when he was able to put in a limited session. Despite getting some work done at the end of the week, his status for Sunday’s game against the Bills is still uncertain.

Fantasy impact: Jamison Crowder (groin)

There was optimism in some quarters that Crowder would be able to play this week. One longtime beat writer suggested the team was merely being cautious with the veteran receiver.

Crowder has only played four games this season, but he’s been targeted no less than 10 times in each of them. He posted 100+ yards in three of his four games, and with Sam Darnold expected to return this week too, he’s a sure bet to put up solid fantasy numbers. But that’s if he plays. You’ll want to keep an eye on the news crawlers before locking in your lineups on Sunday.
