What to do with Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton in Week 7 fantasy football

Sunday update: The Chargers remain 7.5 point favorites in this contest, which may be just about the only thing to cap the ceiling of these wideouts in Week 8, if the game goes as projected. The Jaguars are allowing 170 receiving yards to WRs on average, so there’s plenty of opportunity to go around. Mike Williams remains one of the best flex options for Week 8, but Jalen Guyton is only a play in DFS.

Since Justin Herbert took over the starting quarterback job, things have been going much better and more consistently so for the Los Angeles Chargers wide receivers. It’s made them attractive fantasy options. A Sunday date with the Jaguars should be even better for the group.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers WRs Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Jalen Guyton

Allen left in the first half of the Chargers’ Week 5 game against the Saints with two catches for 29 yards and a touchdown. The bye gave him some time to rest up. He’s been limited in practice this week, but is expected to play in a lucrative matchup against the Jaguars.

Williams had a huge outing in their last game, recording two touchdowns, his first scores of the season, and 109 yards. He saw more work with Allen out early in that game. With Allen back in action this week, it’s unrealistic to expect those kind of numbers again from Williams, but it’s clear he has the Herbert’s trust, which makes him a high-ceiling option for flex or third receiver spots. He’s a paltry $4,700 in DraftKings leagues this week.

Guyton has found the end zone twice this season, but his target volume is too low to be a viable fantasy option with both Williams and Allen in the lineup.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Sit Jalen Guyton.
