What to do with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Chiefs Week 7 matchup against the Broncos, Bell’s first outing with the team since signing as a free agent.

How will Le’veon Bell fit into the Chiefs offense?

Sunday update: It’s 15 degrees in Denver, and the city is under a Winter Storm Warning. This projects as a run-heavy Snow Bowl that could be the perfect setting for Le’Veon Bell’s debut as a Chief, though it’s uncertain what his role will be to start. Bell is a risk in any season-long format, but could be an intriguing DFS play. Clyde Edwards-Helaire remains a must-start.

The reigning champions face an inter divisonal rival in the Denver Broncos. With it being Le’veon Bell’s debut, what does that mean for his and Clyde Edwards-Helaire fantasy values?

Fantasy Football analysis: Kansas City RBs Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell

Clyde Edwards-Helaire could see another decrease in usage. WIth Le’veon Bell’s arrival the rookie RB who started out hot could see Bell take some of his carries and catches. Last week in the win vs the Buffalo Bills, Edwards-Helaire rushed 26 times for 161 yards and caught all four of his targets for eight yards. His best game to date. He could see similar numbers, but with this matchup with the Broncos, he could do about the same with less carries.

Bell is an enigma. Rarely used with the Jets, I don’t think it’s fair to expect him to come in and command more than 10 rushes right away. While he could help more in the pass game, he will get action, but not enough to merit a start, yet.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Edwards-Helaire, bench Bell.
