In a catchweight bout on the preliminary card of UFC 254, Nathaniel Wood will take on Casey Kenney live this Saturday from Fight Island in Abu Dhabi and available on pay-per-view via ESPN+.

Both fighters weighed in at 140 lbs. exactly, and this could be one of the most entertaining bouts of the night. Kenney and Wood are both skilled grapplers and strikers.

Kenney 15-2-1 in his MMA career, 5-2 in the UFC, and coming off a dominant unanimous decision victory over Heili Alateng at UFC Fight Night just three weeks ago.

He averages 4.25 significant strikes per minute and 1.13 takedowns per 15 minutes, landing 42 percent of his strikes and taking just 60 percent of his opponents. Kenney is a versatile fighter that will enter already with three fights under his belt this year.

Unlike has fought twice in 2020 already, and is a strike-heavy opponent, landing 5.52 significant strikes per minute. Also a grappler, Wood notched 1.65 takedowns per 15 minutes. He’s 4-1 in his UFC and 17-4 in MMA.

He doesn’t have a first-round UFC finish, but only one of his contests have gone the distance, an unanimous decision victory back in July over John Castaneda.
