Game day update: ESPN’s PPR projections have Jerry Jeudy at 10.1 points, Tim Patrick at 9.6 points, and K.J. Hamler at 9.2 points. Considering what kind of shootout we could see with the Chiefs offense, the ceilings are intriguing for Drew Lock’s wide receivers, even with Noah Fant returning to play.
The Denver Broncos may finally have a full complement of wide receivers for this week’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only will Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick be on the field, but they could potentially have slot receiver KJ Hamler back in action too.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos WRs Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick
This does come with some pretty significant fantasy implications. With Jeudy spending most of last week’s game against the Patriot covered by Stephon Gilmore, Patrick broke out for his second 100-yard game in a row.
Jeudy had a down game against the Patriots last week, catching just two passes on five targets for 32 yards — a season low for him.
The problem for both players’ fantasy outlook this week is the potential returns of Hamler and tight end Noah Fant. With both of those guys in the lineup, it will definitely take away targets for the other two.
Jeudy is still the guy with the most upside compared with Patrick, but it’s just so hard to know what’s going to happen with this offense with all these guys back in action. Probably best just to avoid them.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick.
