Game day update: Injury slowed Kenny Golladay out of the gate this season, but he’s fully healthy and proving his WR1 bonafides. He gets a great matchup in Week 7 against a bad Falcons defense and is a must start across all leagues. ESPN projects him at 16.1 points in PPR leagues, but that could be closer to his floor than his ceiling. Marvin Jones is projected at 11.5 points thanks to a friendly matchup, but he’s struggled to produce since Golladay returned.

The Atlanta Falcons’ secondary has been a bit of a turbo boost for fantasy receivers on opposing teams this season, and the Detroit Lions hope to see this trend continue in Week 7. Kenny Golladay heads into his fourth game of the season, hopefully as healthy as he’s been this season and will look to have a breakout performance.

Marvin Jones will look to return to last year’s form after a disappointing campaign thus far this season. He missed practice on Wednesday with a knee injury but was back in limited fashion on Thursday. He seems on track to play.

Where do these receivers belong in your lineups? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Lions WRs Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones

Kenny Golladay was unable to find the end zone in Week 6, but he did manage to top 100 yards for the first time this season. Golladay’s finally healthy and he has an ideal match-up against an Atlanta defense that has allowed 18 passing touchdowns this season, while giving up an average of 335 passing yards per game. Golladay will look to find the end zone and top 100 yards for the first time this season and belongs in lineups as a WR1.

Marvin Jones, on the other hand, can’t seem to get it going this year. He is averaging just 6.9 PPR points per game, and his season high in yardage was only 55. Jones can’t be relied on to produce, even in a plus match-up. Stafford has shown a proclivity to look for Golladay and Hockenson first this season, and the Lions backfield also commands a sizeable workload, leaving little room for Jones to succeed. That being said, if Jones is going to have an abnormally productive week, this would be the most likely time for it to happen. He remains on the bench in most standard leagues, but can be considered as a WR3/flex in deeper leagues.
