Top value plays for Giants vs. Eagles NFL TNF Showdown

We go over the top value plays for Thursday’s Giants-Eagles Showdowns on Draftkings.

The first game of Week 7 will be an NFC East Thursday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles. The game is set to kick off at 8:20 p.m. and airs on FOX. We’ve identified some of the best value plays south of $5,000 for DFS contests on DraftKings centered around the matchup.

Top value plays

Graham Gano, K, Giants ($3,600)

Gano is only second to Daniel Jones in DKFP per game on the Giants and might have the biggest leg in the NFL. He’s perfect on extra-point attempts and has made four field goals from beyond 50 yards. If New York continues to struggle finishing drives with touchdowns, Gano offers consistency at a cheap price.

Greg Ward, WR, Eagles ($4,800)

Ward has fallen by the wayside because of how Travis Fulgham has thrived and it appears like DeSean Jackson will be ready to make a return on Thursday. The Eagles lost Zach Ertz to an ankle injury in Week 6 though. Dallas Goedert is on the IR, Philadelphia could be forced to deploy more wide receivers than usual. Ward only trails Ertz in targets and has been a constant while so many other pass catchers have been in an out because of injuries.

Eagles D/ST ($4,600)

Both teams are banged up on offense, but the Giants might be worse off than the Eagles. Darius Slayton’s status is up in the air because of a foot injury, so Jones could have few options on offense. Sterling Shepard is on the IR and Evan Engram hasn’t been a factor for most of the season. The Giants’ subpar backfield could have a very tough time against the Eagles’ stout run defense.
