What to do with Daniel Jones in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Daniel Jones’ fantasy football outlook ahead of the Giants Week 7 matchup against the Eagles on Thursday Night Football.

The New York Giants are one of the worst offensive teams in the NFL this season. Injuries to key skill players have hurt the fantasy football outlook of Daniel Jones. The second-year quarterback will face the Philadelphia Eagles in an important NFC East matchup in Week 7. Can he turn things around against a divisional rival?

Fantasy Football analysis: Giants QB Daniel Jones

Jones is the only quarterback in the NFL with six starts and fewer than four touchdown passes. He ranks 20th in passing yards and could be without Darius Slayton, who is battling a foot injury. With Sterling Shepard still on the IR, Jones will have to depend on the underwhelming Evan Ingram and and Golden Tate. I don’t expect the Giants’ lackluster running back group to do much against Philadelphia’s stout run defense.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

The Giants only eclipsed 20 point against the worst defense in the NFL, so I’d sit Jones against the Eagles. Philadelphia is one of the best against the ground attack and Jones should be fairly limited through the air.
