The Kansas City Chiefs will play an early game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, as their game had to be pushed forward due to Covid related scheduling issues. But, that does give west-coasters a nice matchup to get out of bed for.
Both teams come into this game with 4-1 records and both are coming off tough losses at home. The Chiefs lost to division rival the Las Vegas Raiders while the Bills were punched by the Titans in a blowout. Both of these teams are looking to rebound and get back on track and both have tremendous ability to put up points.
Mecole Hardman, WR, Chiefs, $6,800
Hardman’s price is getting up there for a value play, but with his upside, he could be way too cheap this week. Sammy Watkins is out and Hardman appears to be in line for close to a WR2 workload. He will compete with Demarcus Robinson for looks, but he also has enough big play appeal to weight each of his targets better than Robinson’s.
Cole Beasley, WR, Bills, $6,200
John Brown hasn’t been healthy for a couple weeks now and Beasley has shown a decent fantasy floor with an average of five receptions per game. Brown will likely play, but this game has a 56.5 over/under and Beasley should be right in the thick of the Bills offense.
Tyler Kroft, TE, Bills, $2,600
The last time Dawson Knox was out, Tyler Kroft caught two touchdowns. We of course can’t expect those numbers, but he did have four red zone targets in that game and there’s no reason to go away from him back there again this week.
Demarcus Robinson, WR, Chiefs, $3,000
Robinson hasn’t done much this season, but he will see a good chunk of snaps this week. Last week with Sammy Watkins out, Robinson saw 68 percent of the snaps to 69 percent from Hardman. Robinson ended up with four targets to Hardman’s three. Hardman is the upside play, but Robinson has some value as well with Watkins out.
