Game day update: Lock is expected to start for the Broncos on Sunday, per Adam Schefter.

The Denver Broncos will have a familiar face under center this week. Quarterback Drew Lock is returning to action. He’s been out since suffering a shoulder injury in Week 2. Officially, he is still listed as questionable, but is his expected to play, barring some unforeseen setback.

Fantasy impact: Broncos QB Drew Lock’s Injury

While Lock’s return is great news for the Broncos and their fans, it’s less impactful for fantasy football purposes. The Patriots defense is above average against the pass, and it’s hard to know just what to expect from Lock in his first game back.

His return is good news for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who makes a great play for PPR leagues this week, with some upside. Tight end Noah Fant is also questionable—he’ll be a game-time decision—but if he does play, he’ll be worth a starting spot in lineups too as one of Lock’s favorite and most reliable pass catchers.
