New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is having a difficult sophomore season. The offense lost its centerpiece when running back Saquon Barkley went down with a knee injury. Other offensive players have been in and out of the lineup as well. In short, Daniel Jones is not a viable fantasy option in any week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants QB Daniel Jones
Last week, against the Cowboys, one of the league’s worst defenses, Jones was only able to throw for 222 yards. No touchdowns. In fact, he hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since the first week of the season. But he has been throwing plenty of interceptions, five of them. He’s also fumbled the ball four times, losing two of them. Needless to say, the Giants offense is a disaster.
Washington isn’t a difficult matchup for most teams, and Jones should at least make wide receiver Darius Slayton a viable fantasy option for yards and receptions. But Jones himself has zero fantasy value.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Daniel Jones.
