Neither Preston Williams or DeVante Parker saw many targets against the 49ers last week, but of the looks they did see, they made them count. Williams caught four of five targets for 106 yards while Parker caught two of four targets for 50. Each man also recorded a touchdown from at least 20 yards out. They shouldn’t encounter much resistance this week against the New York Jets.
Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins WRs DeVante Parker, Preston Williams
Despite Williams’ bulkier stat line in Week 5, he remains behind Parker in the pecking order here. He saw no more than five targets in any of the previous four games and a total of 15 during that span. His season-high in yardage prior to Week 5 was 41; Parker’s season-low is 47. Meanwhile, Ryan Fitzpatrick had tunnel vision for Parker in Week 4, throwing his way 12 times as Parker posted a 10-110-0 line. HE is the better player and the better fantasy option, but each wideout should be useful against a Jets defense that has given up the second-most points and the sixth-most yards this season.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Parker is a low-end WR2, but one with a high ceiling versus the Jets. Williams is a riskier flex option because of his low target share, but he is definitely worth trotting out in daily games at $4,700.
