We go over Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Bucs Week 6 matchup against the Packers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday in a fantastic matchup between two of the best NFC teams. The tight ends could end up making a real difference.

In Green Bay you have an emerging Robert Tonyan and in Tampa you have the returning Rob Gronkowski and Cameron Brate. How will the Bucanneers TEs respond to a loss?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate

A once dominant tight end, Rob Gronkowski has certainly dipped in production. Often functioning as a blocking tight end, he has only gone over 50 yards once this season and has no touchdown catches. He has played 80 percent or more of snaps in three straight games after the O.J .Howard injury and could get some red zone looks. While not as dominant, Brady looked for him a bit more last game getting six or more targets for just the second time this season. If he can get a red zone look he could be worth something.

For Cameron Brate, his duties have increased after the OJ Howard injury as he got 6 targets last game. Those have been by far his most and he is looking at similar targets this week. With a crowded space for red zone targets he figures to be fourth or fifth option there so don’t hold your breath on that.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Sit both unless necessary. Neither will command red zone targets with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin back to full health.
