The Los Angeles Rams have a double threat at tight end with Gerald Everett and Tyler Higbee. And while that’s great for the team’s offensive game plan, it does make it harder to figure out which one to start in fantasy football on a weekly basis.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TEs Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee
Higbee had a distinct edge in target share and production early in the season. He had 11 targets to Everett’s four through the first three weeks of the season. But last week, it was Everett was quarterback Jared Goff’s clear favorite. He had four catches on four targets for 90 yards. Higbee had two catches on two targets just 12 yards against Washington.
The Niners, who the Rams play this week, have been pretty stout against opposing tight ends. Until last week. They let Mike Gesicki of the Dolphins roll up 91 yards on five catches.
If you’re considering one of the Rams’ two tight ends, go with the hot hand, Everett.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Gerald Everett. Sit Tyler Higbee.
