The Jacksonville Jaguars trio of wide receivers D.J. Chark, Keelan Cole Sr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. are on fantasy radars this weekend before their game against the Detroit Lions.
How should fantasy owners handle them? What’s the injury status of Chark? Let’s dive in.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WRs D.J. Chark, Keelan Cole Sr., Laviska Shenault Jr.
In Week 5, Shenault led the Jaguars in receiving with seven catches for 79 yards, both team highs against the Houston Texans. Cole caught two balls on seven targets for 25 yards and scored a touchdown. Chark caught three of four targets for 16 yards.
Chark is questionable for Sunday’s game with an ankle injury and had very little participation in this week’s practice. Cole and Shenault would see a major increase in targets if Chark is unable to suit up.
Jacksonville will face the Lions on Sunday in a game that should produce plenty of points. Detroit is coming off a game against the New Orleans Saints in which it allowed Emmanuel Sanders to catch six passes for 93 yards.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
If he plays, Chark could be used as a mid-tier wide receiver No. 3 with Shenault probably looked at as a No. 4 wideout. Shenault could take that No. 3 spot if Chark is unable to go. Conley shouldn’t be in fantasy lineups regardless.
